Seattle Family Photographer
Family photography sessions in Seattle & surrounding area are designed to capture genuine connection, movement, and the joy of being together. Whether it’s the soft glow of golden hour or a relaxed moment by the lake, each session is guided to feel effortless and true to your family.
Rather than posed portraits, these sessions focus on natural interactions—walking, playing, laughing, and simply being present with one another. The result is a collection of images that feel warm, timeless, and full of life.
Many families begin their journey with a maternity session or a newborn photography session, and continue documenting each stage as their family grows.

Frequently asked questions
What’s the best time of day for a family photo session?
Golden hour—just after sunrise or before sunset—is ideal for soft, flattering light and beautiful outdoor backgrounds. However, I also consider your children's routines and moods—because happy, well-rested kids make for the best photos! We’ll work together to find the perfect time that balances light and your family’s comfort.
What should we wear for our family photos?
I provide a detailed style guide with tips on choosing coordinated, comfortable outfits that look great on camera. Soft tones, neutrals, and simple textures photograph beautifully outdoors. You’ll also have access to my curated client closet, which includes select wardrobe options for moms and little ones to make getting ready even easier.
What if my kids don’t cooperate? And do you help with posing?
Don’t worry—my approach is playful and child-led. I create a relaxed environment with prompts and games to keep kids engaged and capture genuine smiles. And yes absolutely! I’ll gently guide you into natural, flattering poses—but most of the magic happens in the candid, in-between moments.
What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
If the weather isn’t ideal, we can easily reschedule your session or adjust the location as needed. I always keep an eye on conditions to ensure we capture your family in the best possible light and environment.
