Milestone and cake smash sessions in Seattle & Everett are a beautiful way to celebrate your baby’s first year — from sweet smiles and first steps to that unforgettable first birthday moment. These sessions are designed to feel light, natural, and joy-filled, all within a clean, airy, and timeless setup in my Everett studio.
I focus on simple, white-toned styling that keeps your little one at the center of every image. No bold themes or heavy props — just a soft, classic look that will never go out of style. From milestone portraits to a beautifully minimal cake smash session, I gently guide each moment to keep your baby comfortable, happy, and authentically themselves.
Together, we’ll capture those fleeting details — chubby cheeks, tiny toes, and big grins — through a calm, baby-led approach that reflects your baby’s personality in an effortless and elegant way.

A $100 creative session fee is required to secure your session date and is applied toward your final collection.
The remaining balance is due 48 hours prior to your session.

• Milk bath setup – $150
• A simple, studio-style cake can be arranged for $60 (please book at least 2–3 weeks in advance)

Yes! At PhotoshotsbyMS, I provide all the props and decorations that perfectly match the white and airy style of my studio. I also offer a simple, clean cake for an additional $60. If you prefer, you’re welcome to bring your own special cake instead. I personally recommend local bakeries like Safeway and Seatown Sweets, which have beautiful cake smash cakes that photograph beautifully.
What should my baby wear for a milestone or cake smash session?
For milestone sessions, simple, soft-colored outfits work best to keep the focus on your baby’s natural beauty. Neutral tones and light fabrics complement the clean, airy studio style perfectly.
For cake smash sessions, choose outfits that are easy to change or remove since things can get messy. Lightweight, comfortable clothes or cute diaper covers work great. Bringing a spare outfit is always a good idea!
